Okay, so the end of Chapter 13 was changed, and Chapter 14 added on there at last, as well. What's gonna happen, huh? You're leaving us all in suspense, and some of us have been floating around here for long over a year now. You tease! Give us more!
=)

Sorry for the anonymous handle...the Shadow likes the shadows in the Park! Who knows what evil lurks in the darkness of the web?

Will there ever be a Chapter 14?

Subject: I have "insides"
Date: Tue, 02 Nov 1999 12:14:15 EST
Could be that they are maladapted. Could be a precursor of the borderline I seem to walk along. Could just be me. My personality, personified by an ache that won't go. I see people all the way through to their bones. I see them figet, fib, put meat in their traps for others to bite on. I see them hunt and I see them kill.
Could it be that my intuition is murdering my chances of remaining alive?
Over-sensitivity is not for me to cleanse unless I can put something else on my pallate in its place.
Do you have something for me to taste?

A Siren sings a song of power versus need to lure one into a false sense of
dependency, the girls damage even the wax packed deepest, they eradicate
the darkest mistakes in the bass clef; they chant to chain your spine
together.
A cyclone spins a tale of nature's powerful song. She waves a hasty retreat
into the whirlwind's ending of your room. Paper. Left over cinnamon
scones, a milky swirl after coke foam. Her poems written on a peony napkin
from the favorite cafe. She landed in your lap after you began having
chest pains, repeat offenses of romantic bitterness, the more cynical
morning after pills. She came to you on a mattress tingled with hail
bullets and malestrom melody. She came to you hardly alive and without
conscience.
A Power in the world can sing or spin the songs of nature at a whim. The
power of a woman's world is not without the incessant contradiction and
paradoxes of pendantic punishing pulls to the throat, open while we gasp
for some sense of freedom, leaving our masochism unleashed and our bodies
unencumbered by silences too precious to be sadistic or salient tears
refined by human comforts.

Yes. I think I have. I don't know. I only have the questions you asked of
me. You must ask me more. I didn't scare you enough? (smile) I can only
be honest and ready to reveal more. That is all I know how to do except
lie. (laugh)
Do you know how all that could have started?
Use your imagination...
I like it.

I can't reach you. E-mail times out. Spaces stand still turning while the memory wires my writing I can finally see what this hermit's cape has darkened, has hidden, deep inside of me.

I want to move in. Tell me the rules.

Absolutly astounding. I came across your virtual self quite some time ago via some kind words left in my very own guestbook. Though I didn't have the patience at the time to give it a truly worthy peruse I swore to return. I have and I must say I am quite impressed. An ingenious use of talent and technology. I am most definatly blown away. You are quite the skilled writer. I shall return with more constructive comments in the future.
